Welcome Pioneers! We are glad to have you as a member of our Pioneer family, and trust that this academic year will be enjoyable and rewarding to every stakeholder within our learning community.
North Miami Senior High School believes in the philosophy that "our faculty, staff, and administration are the founders of the students’ success " Together we Make a Difference."
From this philosophy, we have forged an ambitious vision and mission.
Our vision is:
Our students will be successful not only in their future academic endeavors but more importantly as well rounded individuals. They will know that it is more effective to work for the benefit of the whole, and not those parts: they will understand each other as people, and contribute to each other’s success. Furthermore, the will understand the impact of their decisions and they will take responsibility for those decisions. They will value each other by treating each other with fairness and equity, communicating with openness, trust and respect. Through these beliefs they will be empowered to realize their potential.
Our mission is:
North Miami Senior High School’s mission is to ensure that all of our students reach their academic potential by providing an integrated and challenging curriculum in a safe environment, empowering, them to become productive and successful citizens of the twenty-first century.
From our vision and mission, we endeavor to provide for all stakeholders an environment that is many opportunities to develop new skills, exercise creativity initiative, and build relationships that promote mutual growth and prosperity here at North Miami Senior High School.
